TSE product certification: model, production and certificate scope
Identify manufacturer, production site, brand, product/models, technical characteristics and requested standard or criterion.

Identify manufacturer, production site, brand, product/models, technical characteristics and requested standard or criterion.
Discuss your scopeEstablish the applicable TSE product-certification scheme; TSE and TSEK references are not interchangeable labels. A management-system document or laboratory report alone does not grant a product mark licence.
Compare model specifications, drawings/materials, production controls and complete test reports with the actual requested scope. Clarify TSE’s application, factory examination, sampling/testing and decision requirements for that scheme. Verify the certificate holder, factory, standard, covered model and current status; observe the actual mark-use conditions.
Use TSE’s official certified-company search to compare the company identity, relevant TS standard, certificate number and status, then inspect the company detail and actual certificate scope. A search result is an entry point, not proof that every model, plant or mark use is covered. If the production address or variant is absent from the available detail, obtain clarification from TSE rather than extending the scope through a commercial description.
The published TSE-PR-010 mark-use procedure, revised on 29 May 2024, restricts use to the certificate or contract scope and requires use to stop after suspension or termination. It also warns against confusing product, service and management-system certificates. Check the currently applicable scheme rules and actual contract with TSE; the dated procedure does not provide a universal current test list, fee or completion period.
Conditional case: a seller adds a new size or material under an old model family and copies the TSE mark. Compare the certificate scope and design change; obtain the required technical evaluation and TSE decision before treating the variant as covered. A catalogue claim does not widen a certificate.
Send QRS the model matrix, actual plant, requested standard, existing reports and the exact comparison requested. Before accepting work, identify the responsible legal entity and check its authority, competence, permitted scope and conflicts. Reviewing existing product evidence is different from TSE’s factory examination, testing arrangements or mark-use decision. This guide establishes no delegated TSE authority or accredited testing scope and promises no certificate outcome.
Use the guides to explore scope and practical questions in this field and find the detail relevant to your situation.

For a TSE product enquiry, identify the manufacturer, plant, model variants and requested standard. Describe the existing evidence to compare; authority, scope and conflicts must be checked before any concrete work is accepted.
