Scope and current rules
This service guide concerns good hygiene practices in a food business. GHP establishes hygienic conditions; HACCP examines controls for product and process specific hazards. ISO 22716 for cosmetics and applicable pharmaceutical GMP legislation are separate bases. Food hygiene preparation does not replace those programmes.
For food GHP support, describe the actual establishment, raw and ready-to-eat flows, ingredients, allergens, cleaning access and intended customer assessment. State whether the request is hygiene implementation, audit preparation or an identified private programme. Cosmetics ISO22716 and pharmaceutical GMP must be scoped separately.
Connect preparation to real production
The establishment manager confirms food flows and assigns receiving, cleaning and label-control owners. Review the actual operation before choosing records or verification methods; physical layout and maintenance gaps require their own actions. Clarify the assessment basis and issuer if a commercial certificate is requested. Preparation does not replace Ministry registration, approval or official inspection.
A hypothetical food business prepares another product after one containing milk. Cleaning having occurred does not alone demonstrate effective allergen control. Examine the method, accessible equipment surfaces, cleaning checks and the next product’s label together. Where results are inadequate, record the cause and recheck work rather than presume production suitability. This is food GHP preparation, not cosmetics ISO 22716 or pharmaceutical GMP coverage.
Assessment scope and decision boundaries
Records should identify equipment, cleaning time, method and responsible person. Link visual checks or suitable risk based verification results to that activity. A visibly clean area does not alone demonstrate allergen removal; the same surface testing package is not declared mandatory for every food business.
The business prepares its own process controls and authentic operating records. A request to QRS must identify the activity and proposed assessment programme; acceptance requires confirmation of applicable scope, authority and conflicts of interest. QRS’s published impartiality policy excludes management-system consultancy and consultancy-like implementation guidance. Food GHP, cosmetics ISO 22716 and pharmaceutical GMP are separate bases. An unspecified GMP certificate proves neither statutory approval nor authority for the requested programme. In Türkiye, food establishment registration or approval follows Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry rules separately.
