Batch and operating evidence
An evidence matrix can track ISO 22000, sector prerequisites and FSSC additions separately. For a changed production line, review the hazard analysis, hygiene arrangements and verification plan together. Check that records have dates and scopes matching current production.
Continuity after the audit
Publication of Version 7 does not mean every October 2026 audit uses it. Agree the applicable audit version and the transition after 1 May 2027 with the certification body. Track open findings, changes and follow-up assessments separately when planning certificate continuation.
Scope matching for continuation
Compare address, food chain category and actual activity when checking scope. A new storage site is not included merely because it belongs to the same company. Preparation review, certification audit and independent decision produce different outputs and should be distinguished.
Scope discussion and responsibilities
For a scope discussion with QRS, share activities, addresses, products and customer requirements. Verify the selected scheme’s body approval and scope in the official register. Preparation, independent assessment and the certification decision are separate stages.
