Questions for your situation
Can a training request specify only a standard number?
Add the participant's role, experience and expected work output. Awareness, implementation, internal audit and team leadership have different objectives. Choose content, duration and assessment accordingly; programmes with similar names may have different scopes.
How do attendance, achievement and professional authority differ?
Attendance records participation; an achievement document may record success in a defined assessment. Professional appointment or personnel certification has separate conditions. State programme, scope and assessment type clearly, and avoid presenting course completion as organisational accreditation or regulatory authorisation.
Which practical tasks suit internal and lead auditor candidates?
Use record review, interview planning, evidence collection, finding-writing and reporting tasks. Assess planning and allocation when team leadership is intended. Examples should reflect the standard and sector; multiple-choice questions alone do not demonstrate every field skill.
What overlaps among 17020, 17021-1, 17024, 17025 and 17065 training?
Impartiality, competence and record management can be shared topics. Inspection, management system certification, personnel certification, laboratories and product certification also have distinct assessment and decision processes. The programme should explain those differences through practical exercises.
Does technical-file or MDR training decide a product's conformity?
Training develops understanding and practice. Classification, safety and performance evidence and conformity assessment for an actual product are separate processes. A classroom example is not a completed technical file or regulatory approval for the participant's real product.
How can achievement in root-cause analysis training be demonstrated?
Ask participants to distinguish symptoms, correction, cause analysis and recurrence-prevention actions. They should explain which data will test action effectiveness. Assess whether the example supports their reasoning rather than whether they copied a prepared list of causes.
How can remote attendance and learning be recorded separately?
Keep session attendance and practical-task results as distinct records. Explain assessment conditions, permitted resources and feedback in advance. Connection time alone does not demonstrate competence; define how incomplete tasks will be made up.
Is previous training still enough after a standard or role changes?
Compare new requirements and responsibilities with the earlier course scope. Gaps may require an update, practical task or new course. Appointment decisions should consider current experience and assessment evidence as well as certificate dates.
