Questions for your situation
Can one sample assess every size fraction in a product family?
Examine each characteristic's relationship to particle size and processing. A common source may support some information, while screening or washing can produce differences. Explain representation in the test plan. A family name does not provide unlimited coverage of unrepresented fractions.
What should be reviewed when the source and crushing plant belong to different businesses?
Connect source access, incoming acceptance, operations and change notifications. Samples and dispatches should be traceable to the relevant source. Clarify manufacturer and declaration roles. One business's certificate does not automatically cover activities controlled by another.
Can material be released after stockpiles are mixed if laboratory results were satisfactory?
Re-establish what the report represents before deciding from its result table. Review stock locations, loading and identification and determine mixing scope. Additional sampling or technical verification may be needed. Even conforming material dispatched from the wrong stockpile can breach traceability or customer conditions.
Does aggregate CE marking also approve the concrete mix design?
Declared aggregate characteristics are inputs to concrete design. Assess the recipe, other components and use separately. Do not extend aggregate assessment to every performance characteristic of finished concrete. Define responsibility for comparing project requirements contractually.
Why can a new crusher require changes to the file?
Crushing methods can affect shape, grading, fines and consistency. Determine whether previous tests represent the new output. Update product type and controls where necessary. Treating the change only as maintenance can conceal its effect on declared performance.
Which information affects surveillance planning time?
Consider sources, sites, product types, uses and existing controls together. Explain when representative operations can be observed after long stops or in seasonal production. Missing tests and earlier findings may add work. Annual tonnage alone cannot determine an identical duration for every business.
