Vegan Cosmetics Certificate
The route involves selecting variants, preparing origin evidence and review by the actual programme owner. Consultancy preparation does not authorise logo use.
Review fragrance and testing responsibility
In a hypothetical serum, botanical ingredients are documented but perfume subcomponents and the relevant animal-testing responsibility are not. Obtain manufacturer-specific origin/process evidence and review the chosen programme’s responsibility boundaries. A safety report or cruelty-free slogan does not complete that file. Match the actual formula and shared equipment to the product licence and mark conditions.
Programme conditions and worked assessment
Example: A business sends ten product names without formula versions or shared-material identities. Build a product/formula/supplier matrix. Direct origin and processing questions to the relevant manufacturer and attach each reply to the correct material. Explain testing responsibilities and shared-production controls. Answer programme questions with versioned records, then compare the final licence list and label permission with the finished products. Downloading a logo or paying an application fee is not permission by itself; keep approval and subsequent changes explicitly recorded.
Evidence and authority boundary
The Vegan Society is an example source; no Kayra/QRS programme authority is asserted. Missing supplier information affects timing; neither allergen freedom nor a positive outcome is guaranteed.
