Questions for your situation
Can the file's product name differ from the commercial label name?
Record the reason and the relationship to the same formulation or variant. Map commercial name, product code, formula version and packaging. Similar names alone do not justify reusing another product's evidence; check the products listed in the certificate or assessment schedule.
How are percentages behind natural and organic claims reviewed?
State the scheme or calculation approach used. Ingredient classifications, composition percentages and supplier information must agree with the calculation. Check whether the result supports the entire label statement; do not extend an ingredient's attribute to the whole product without justification.
Can vegan textiles, furniture and cosmetics use one input checklist?
Map each product's actual components and processing aids. Textile finishes and dyes, furniture adhesives and coatings, and cosmetic carriers and flavours raise different questions. Apply the scheme to the product group and examine relevant inputs beyond the main material.
What if a supplier declaration lacks a date or product code?
Verify which ingredient and version it concerns. Request clear product identification, scope and change information from the supplier. General company publicity is not evidence for a particular ingredient. Make assumptions caused by missing information visible in the review file.
How should contract-manufacturing records match the approved formulation?
The work order, ingredient batches and formula version should describe the same production. Record who reviewed and approved substitutions or deviations. Assess effects on claims, safety documentation and programme scope separately; a purchasing change does not replace technical approval.
Is a cleaning procedure enough for a shared production line?
Examine records showing its use and verification during the relevant product changeover. Materials, equipment and layouts create different risks. Apply the selected scheme's cross-contamination and segregation requirements; a generic procedure cannot be assumed to represent all production conditions.
How should halal cosmetics, vegan and GMP marks be checked?
Verify each mark's owner, permission and covered products or activities separately. A manufacturing-site certificate does not automatically permit its mark on every product. The new package must agree with current scope and the applicable mark-use rules.
Why does the destination country matter in a cosmetics conformity file?
Safety, responsible-party, notification and label requirements depend on the market. Voluntary natural or vegan assessment does not replace all those obligations. State the country and assessment purpose, and preserve responsible-person details, warnings and intended purpose in translations.
