Define the controlled organic activity
Check the proposed body’s legal name, actual current status, authorisation dates and permitted activities in the Ministry’s organic KSK list. Presence of an entry alone is insufficient when the page records withdrawal or expiry. Good agricultural practice, İTU or GLOBALG.A.P. approval is not automatically organic authorisation; the destination market may also have separate requirements.
Keep organic status attached to the actual product
Preserve supplier and product certificates, current status, receipt quantities, storage separation, processing yields, packing and dispatch evidence. Match label claims to the actual controlled product and issuer information. Words such as natural or village product and a residue analysis do not independently establish organic certification.
Hypothetically, a hazelnut packer receives a certified organic lot and a conventional lot into one shared store. A packing report later labels the combined quantity organic without showing separation or which inputs entered each run. Do not use the genuine supplier certificate to cover all stock. Reconcile real receipts, movement, losses and finished lots; disclose any mixing to the authorised body and obtain the applicable status decision before making the claim.
Confirm scope and responsibility before external control
The operator implements the applicable rules, preserves genuine records and submits changes in suppliers, sites, processes and labels for the required review. An operator document must not be presumed to cover every new product or contracted activity. Control and the applicable product-certification decision remain the authorised body’s functions; a checklist is not a certificate.
Any request to QRS must first be checked against its actual organic-programme authority, accepted scope and independence arrangements. This page and QRS’s published impartiality policy do not establish organic KSK approval. The policy does not permit management-system consultancy or client-specific implementation solutions. Do not substitute another programme’s certificate, a quotation or a general brand promise for the required organic decision.
Does residue analysis alone make a product organic?
No. The applicable controlled and certified organic route is required.
Does a Ministry list entry always mean current authority?
No. Read status, dates and scope, including recorded withdrawal.
Does a supplier certificate cover all mixed stock?
No. Preserve actual product identity and obtain the applicable status decision.
