GLOBALG.A.P. IFA: Audit Evidence and Certification Continuity
Connect plot and product identity to input applications, harvest and dispatch records.

Connect plot and product identity to input applications, harvest and dispatch records.
Connect plot and product identity to input applications, harvest and dispatch records. Where certified and out of scope products share a facility, explain their separation and quantity tracking. Follow improvement targets using starting data and results rather than a plan with no measurements.
IFA compliance is audited annually. To retain status, the body’s audit must occur within the current certificate’s validity period. Assess new plots, products and handling points for scope effects. A certificate copy alone does not prove that the current product is covered and valid.
Check products and production locations against the certificate’s assessed scope, dates and validity. A new product or plot is not automatically covered because the producer is unchanged. Plan the annual body assessment and scope-change procedures together for continuation.
For a scope discussion with QRS, share activities, addresses, products and customer requirements. Verify the selected scheme’s body approval and scope in the official register. Preparation, independent assessment and the certification decision are separate stages.
Content checked: 3 October 2026. Scheme rules rely on official sources; record structures and work plans are editorial recommendations. Check the complete requirements and the body’s current scope separately.
